GasBadgeTM Personal Gas Alarm
The cost-effective GasBadgeTM warns of the accumulation of toxic gases
or the depletion of
oxygen with both audible and visual alarms. The unit will
operate continuously for one full year, monitoring for potentially
hazardous
levels of hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide or oxygen. At the end of each
year, the unit shuts down automatically.
It can then be renewed for
another year of service for a nominal fee. By joining the
GasBadgeTM Total
Cost of Ownership Program (TCOP), users can have fixed, maintenance-
free
monitoring costs for up to five years. Except for daily testing to verify
battery life and periodic "bump" testing, the
GasBadgeTM requires no
further maintenance. The high-impact composite case provides
outstanding
RFI protection. This lightweight 3-oz instrument can be worn on a belt, shirt pocket or hard hat. Although
the
unit requires no calibration, an optional automatic calibrator is available for users who want periodic
calibration.
Measures 3" x 1.7" x 1.25". Approvals: UL and CSA, Class I, Groups A, B, C, and D. MSHA:
intrinsically safe for methane/air
