HS560 Hydrogen Sulfide Monitor
The HS560 is designed to monitor ambient air continuously for hydrogen
sulfide up to levels of 1000 ppm. Compact design,
rugged aluminum
housing and reliable, field-replaceable electrochemical sensor assure
optimum performance with minimal
maintenance. Weighing 6.4 oz, the unit
is easily carried or worn on clothing, maximizing protection while keeping
workers'
hands free. A liquid crystal display (LCD) screen provides
measurements in one-ppm increments. When the H2S
level reaches the
factory preset 10 ppm low-alarm limit, the audible and visual alarms pulsate
in unison. If H2S
levels reach the second 15 ppm high-alarm limit, the audible and visual alarms remain
latched on at a faster rate of
pulsation until the alarm is silenced in a safe atmosphere. Powered by a
single 9-volt, providing more than 1,000 hours of
continuous (non-alarm) operation. A test button on the
unit assures both battery and sensor are functioning properly. UL
classified for Class I, Division I, Groups
A, B, C and D locations and CSA certified for Class I Divisions 1 and 2,
Groups A, B, C and D locations.
