Safe-AirSentry
1484
Dual Propane and Natural Gas Detector
List Price: $44.95
The cost of electricity is important to you and AIM Safe-Air Products understands that. We also know that you want protection from the dangers of leaking propane and natural gas sources. The AIM SAS 1484 detector was developed using the latest in sensor and microprocessor technology. The result is a detector with a minimal $2.85 annual cost of operation (Cost based on .087 cents per Kw hour).
We also made it simple to operate, no confusing light and beeps. A yellow warm-up light will turn green after the 3 minute power-up cycle. Push the Test switch and a complete diagnostic test is performed in an instant. No calibration gas is required. Also , it is smart enough not to alarm from a "puff" of hair spray, cleaner, or other aerosol sprays. No nuisance alarms.

Features include:
- Low Current Draw - only 33Kw of electric a year
- Double-Check Circuit - eliminates false alarms caused by a brief exposure
to perfumes, hair spray, cleaners, aerosol sprays, and other flammable gases. An 8 second double-check circuit is used to verify a gas leak from a momentary gas exposure.
- Mute Circuit - temporarily silences the detector for two minutes.
For added safety the Red LED will continue to flash and the alarm will beep every 30 seconds until the gas has cleared.
- Re-alarm During Mute - when gas re-enters the area during the Mute
cycle, the detector will sound the alarm 4 times and the Red LED will signal an alarm condition.
- Safe-T-Lock Malfunction Circuit - the detector flashes an alternating
Red/Green visual signal and sounds once every 15 seconds. A malfunction cannot be over ridden by the Mute switch. This operational feature gives an immediate identification of the type of alarm and assists service and response personnel.
- Test Circuit - simply press the test switch and a complete diagnostic test is
performed in an instant. No gas required.
- UL Listed - for use in recreational vehicles, homes, and 'unconditioned' areas
such as garages, boiler/furnace rooms, warehouses, barns, offices, etc. Operational temperature: -31 F to +156 F.
