• The Positive Pressure Hoods provide a higher level of respiratory protection than the negative pressure models. The waterfall airflow design provides a steady stream of air into the rear of the hood, up over the top, then down into the worker’s breathing zone.
• The one outer shroud design features a loose inner collar that helps prevent contaminated air from entering the hood.
• The inner shroud design tucks into a shirt or coveralls to channel excess air down over the body.
• In both designs, the outer shroud protects against overspray.
• The U-shaped visor provides peripheral and downward vision. Adjustable cap suspension snaps to the visor, so the hood moves when the wearer’s head moves. The hard hat suspension includes a hard hat inside the hood.
• Model H-400 is made of DuPont Tyvek QC. H-600 is made of DuPont Tyvek QC. H-800 is flame-retardant.
• The Insulated Breathing Tube connects air-supplied hoods to air-regulating valves.
• Breathing tube, valve assembly and hose are all required to complete the NIOSH approved system. Cartridges/Filters are listed separately.
